What's Next?

Over the past year, Wold Architects and Kraus Anderson have been working with the City to develop project designs, refine scope, and evaluate cost estimates and timelines. Rather than pursuing the entire project all at once, the City Council discussed developing it in two phases. This timeframe allows for the completion of a current lease obligation at the new property, which will generate some revenue for the city.

 

Phase 1 - August 10, 2026 to June 2027

• Remodeling the City Hall into a Fire Station,
• Remodeling 26263 Forest Blvd for the new City Hall location, and
• Moving City Hall offices to 26263 Forest Blvd

Phase 2 - Construction planned for 2029

• Remodeling 26263 Forest Blvd for the new Police Dept location,
• Moving the Police Dept to 26263 Forest Blvd, and
• Renovating and constructing a garage at 26263 Forest Blvd
