Polling Place Rules
In a polling place, only authorized people can be present. Campaigning is not allowed and political materials cannot be worn.
- Do not enter a polling place unless you are authorized
- Do not campaign in or near the polling place
- Do not wear campaign materials
- Do not initial or sign your ballot, or mark it with a sticker
- Taking photos is discouraged
Time Off to Vote
In a state or federal election, every employee has the right to take time off work to vote without losing your pay, personal leave, or vacation time. See Minnesota Statute 204C.04.
