Mission Statement
The Mission Statement for the Wyoming Economic Authority is to retain current and attract new commerce and industry, to maintain quality neighborhoods, preserving housing stock, providing a variety of housing choices and housing opportunities in order to sustain and enhance the economic vitality and quality of life in the City of Wyoming. This will allow the City to maintain and grow it’s long term economic tax and employment base. This is to be accomplished by providing a proactive approach for building a rapport with the current business community as well as developing a strategic plan to attract new business.
About
Is a seven-member board that is compromised of 5 citizens and 2 council members. The EDA's role is to facilitate economic development by promoting business development opportunities, retention and housing development throughout the City. The City Administrator assists the Board on matters relating to economic development activities.
