Building Permits & Inspections

Building Permits

The City of Wyoming - Department of Building Safety is responsible for plan reviews, permitting, and inspection of all construction within the city. City inspectors ensure that construction meets the prescribed standards regulated by the State Building Code for the safety and security of all residents.

A building permit is required for many building projects. Discuss your plans with a building inspector before you begin to determine whether you need a permit.  A building inspector will answer your construction questions and can provide valuable advice.
