The Administration and Finance Department are responsible for managing the day to day operations of the City of Wyoming.

The Mission of the City of Wyoming is to efficiently do the work of the city, invest in the community and to operate with stability to provide reliable and adaptive services that are accessible to all.
Administration Department
The City Administrator is appointed by the City Council to manage all functions of city government and (along with other department supervisors) oversees, evaluates and makes recommendations to the City Council on all issues of concern to the City. The department consists of the City Administrator, Assistant City Administrator and an Administrative Assistant.
Finance Department
The Finance Department maintains accounting records for the general fund, special revenue funds, debt service funds, capital project funds; managing cash and investments; preparing the budget and monitoring revenues and expenditures for budgetary compliance, processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, utility billing process utilizing a private vendor and coordinating the annual audit. The City of Wyoming has a service agreement with Abdo Eick and Meyer to receive some base level financial services; along with, the utilization of a Finance Director level Consultant that handles more complex financial issues including budgeting, audit prep, debt service and long range financial planning.
