Daytime Firefighters Needed

WFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical Response for all of Wyoming
Part-time/Paid on-call employees who receive an hourly wage when responding to calls, drills and trainings
Competitive retirement with 10+ years of service
Trainings held on Monday evenings

Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
Must live within 7 minutes of the Fire Station (26885 Forest Blvd)
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Pass a criminal background check and driver’s license check
Pass a physical agility test
Pass a pre-employment physical

Qualified Applicants

You are able to commit to obtaining a State Certification for Firefighter I, Firefighter II, and Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) within 2 years of appointment.
