The Economic Development Authority (EDA) meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Monday of most months at City Hall, unless otherwise announced.
Mission of the Wyoming Economic Development Authority - is to retain current and attract new commerce and industry to the City of Wyoming, allowing the City to maintain and grow it's long term economic tax and employment base. This is to be accomplished by providing a systematic proactive approach for building a rapport with the current business community as well as developing a methodology to attract new business.
The City of Wyoming EDA was created to advise the City Council on economic development issues and proposals and to perform a wide range of functions authorized by Minnesota statute. The EDA conducts research, purchases, leases and sells property, provides financial assistance, and support projects and programs that promote business and investment in the City.
